Trials Register

Cochrane Back and Neck's Trials Register is a comprehensive database of information about treatment interventions for neck and back pain, containing reports of clinical trials, systematic reviews, and guidelines related to back and neck pain. A subset of the register may be searched through the Cochrane Library.

The CBN Trials Register is populated by the results of ongoing electronic database searches, handsearching, quarterly searches of international healthcare guideline sources, and by the results of specific searches and reference checks of included studies for individual reviews.

Regular searches for ongoing trials of back and neck pain treatments are conducted in the US National Institute of Health database of clinical trials, ClinicalTrials.gov and the WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP).

The database is maintained in the Cochrane Register of Studies (CRS), which is both a data repository and a data management tool.
